Wilds that pay in the base game
Kennel wilds land on the three centre reels and substitute for everything except the scatter. A neat detail: on each spin, every wild on the same reel shares a single multiplier, which is either 2x or 3x. Wilds on one winning line add their multipliers together. Plenty of rival games save their multipliers for free spins only; Royal Hunt lets the kennels boost ordinary spins too, which makes the wait for scatters less of a grind.
Getting to free spins
You need three scatters. When a scatter is sitting just one position away, the game sometimes throws in a respin: the reels holding scatters slide down one place and the others spin again, giving you a second shot at the trigger.
Next comes a 3×3 grid in which every cell turns up 1, 2 or 3 spins. The cells are totalled and that sum is your free spins count. While the round runs, any wild hitting reels 2, 3 or 4 locks in for the rest of the bonus, carrying a randomly chosen multiplier. No scatters appear during the bonus, so there is no way to retrigger it.
Royal Free Spins and what they can pay
This mode is only available as a buy, priced at 500x your bet, and it cannot be triggered naturally. Its selling point is that every kennel comes in at 10x or 20x.
